Turning Monologues into Dialogues: 3rd Series
8-10.15pm

Representing the finals series of Turning Monologues into Dialogues. We helped to destigmatize suicide in our community and explored the suicide prevention & mitigation tools. The sessions was conducted via panel discussion that consisted lawyers, licensed therapists including the NGOs representatives advocates for decriminalizing suicide in Malaysia.

Toxic Positivity
8-10pm

First event organized by BODs 2021. We uncovered the hidden truth about toxic positivity that happens in our life. It aimed to help the participants enhance their understanding better about authentic positivity and toxic positivity. The session was moderated by Mr Dorian, Connect’s club advisor.

Mental Health First Aid Training for Student Leaders

For the second series of Turning Monologues into Dialogues, we conducted a training workshop “Mental Health Aid Training for Student Leaders in which to provide student leaders with the appropriate tools to prepare, respond and recover in an emergency situation within clubs and Taylorian community.

Connecting Perspectives: Self-Diagnosing Counsellors On The Internet
1-3pm

On the last episode, we highlighted current mental health issues on Self-Diagnosing Counsellors via the Internet. We revealed the reasons why people preferred to go for online self-diagnosis rather than professional consultation. The episode aimed to urge people to seek help and advice from professionals.
